For the coursework component of our A2 we have been asked to go in groups or by ourselves to create a music promo, for a song that does not already have a music video. We also have to produce a promotion pack for the music promo, this includes a digipak for the album's release and a magazine advertisement for the digipak.
I created a music promo with my partner Danielle. Please find my final products below.

What have you learned from your audience feedback?
Questions:
Did you manage to understand the storyline/ message of the video?
Was there anything you think we could have improved on?
If you were to promote this artist what age would you promote it to? And would you say its more female or male targeted?
Overall do you like the music promo and would you watch it again?

Promotional poster changes
The purpose of a promotional poster is to promote the artist. Once we had finished editing the promotional poster we showed it to our teacher for feedback. We also then told that the poster needed to be portrait instead of landscape because it had to fit into a magazine page. It was then we realised that we had not promoted the album with the poster so we decided to start from scratch.
Final: First draft:
We looked at our real media artifacts such as Birdy and found that her promotional poster is very similar to her album cover. This helps to promote the album as well as the artist. We felt our promotional poster did not do this to a high standard, so we decided to make the poster represent the album cover. We did this by changing it into black and white. Also including the image of the album image on the poster, with the artist name in bold.
