Casting research

While planning we decided we would need two people to be involved in our music promo. One girl around 16-18, who is easy to identify with and natural looking. She would need to be comfort i n front of a camera and being filmed in public. The person would also have to be flexible with their time, as we do not have much time in which to film. The guy needs to be around the same age as the girl and also look approachable. He would not need to worry too much about acting as the majority is focused on the girl.













We cast two girls, Summer and Tasha. Each were equally good at lip syncing and performing in front of a camera, however Summer was able to be more flexible with her time. Summer also did GCSE drama so she was able to perform with confidence and manage to learn the song lyrics quickly.

For the male character we cast a boy called Fraser. He is 17 years old and currently studies A level media, which
means he knows what to expect.
