Today we started uploading and editing our footage. We spent most of the time waiting for eh footage to upload. Once all the footage was on the Mac we then had to import it into premiere pro, this was a lot quicker.
To create the first draft we decided just to insert our shots in order and then later edit and more the shots around. The first part we found challenging was syncing the lip syncing with the music. However after a few attempts we manage to get the hang of it.
Once we had filled around 2 minutes we realised that we didn't have enough shots to fill in between Summer's lip syncing. So we are going to go back to Marlow to film shots of the park. This is good beacuse it does not involve our actress. We also still need to film Fraser on the train, which we were unable to do while we were filming in Marlow because there was an unwell passenger. I have planned to film him on Tuesday around 4, so it wouldn't be too busy on the train.
During editing we inserted each clip at a time, each time we would have to lock the footage and delete the sound. After doing a few times we were suddenly unable to insert a shot into the sequence. We tried a number of different solutions and in the end we had to call the schools IT expert to help us solve the problem. Luckily it was just a button we had accidentally pressed which enables you from inserting footage.
